Item #33455

Limited edition, this being #100/129. Jung began compiling The Red Book at the age of 38, kept locked in a cupboard in his house and incrementally added to it over a span of 16 years, growing the original "opus" of 205 oversize pages of ornate calligraphy and bright, detailed paintings. After its unearthing and publication, interpretation continuously brings light to the immense text (NYT Magazine article by Sara Corbett, 2009). This Philemon publication is a full facsimile, with 53 pages of full images, 71 pages contain both text and images, and 81 pages as pure calligraphic text. An immensely important publishing phenomenon.
